Radioactive Handling Procedure

  1. Radioactive waste is the radioactive substance and the equipment or apparatus that contaminated with radioactive material or become radioactive cause of nuclear installation that not used anymore. 
  2. Transport of Radioactive waste is the removal of radioactive waste from one place to other place through general traffic by means of land, water or air transportation.
  3. Shipping is the process include technical and administrative preparation that done by waste producer followed by transport till accepted by PTLR.
  4. Transporter is people or body that do waste transporting.
  5. Packaging is package that contain of radioactive waste inside.
  6. Sender is people or body that preparing of radioactive waste that stated on the waste document.
  7. Receiver is PLTR
